Contemporary Friend Frame

Create a photo frame as stylishly modern as your friend with Texture Fierro.

Texture Tools

Supplies
• Water container
• Paper towels
• Vine stencil or design of your choice
• 1/4" masking or quilter’s tape
• Metal word or phrase embellishment
• Craft glue

Surfaces
• 12" x 12" MDF frame, 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" opening, Michael's

Instructions
1. Mask off sections on frame with tape. Refer to photo for placement.
2. Use palette knife to apply Iron Brown in two sections. While wet, drag texture tool to create random design.
3. Apply Green Gold in center section. Drag texture tool back and forth as you move from top to bottom, creating zig-zag pattern.
4. Apply Iron Graphite in remaining sections. While wet, drag flat side of texture tool across surface to smooth out.
5. Carefully remove tape and let dry.
6. Position vine stencil on bottom Iron Graphite section. Use palette knife to apply Green Gold in open areas of stencil. Lift and remove stencil. Let dry.
7. Position and adhere metal word or phrase on top Graphite section.
