Bohemian Striped Vase


Give your favorite flower child this vase, striped in Americana Gloss Enamels.

DecoArt Products Required
Americana Gloss Enamels

• DAG34 - Lavender
• DAG228 - Bright Orange
• DAG234 - Calypso Blue
• DAG235 - Citron Green
• DAG276 - Razzle Berry

Supplies
• #12 brush
• #0 liner brush
• Medium round sponge pouncer
• Water container
• Craft knife or razor blade
• Palette or plastic plate
• Paper towels
• 2" & 1" painter's tape

Surfaces
• 3" x 4" x 6" glass cube vase

Instructions
Preparation: Clean glassware with alcohol and allow to completely dry before painting. Let dry between steps.
1. Position and adhere 2" painter's tape 1" from bottom of vase. Adhere 1" painter's tape 1/2" above 2" tape.
2. Paint bottom stripe, Lavender; center stripe, Bright Orange; and top stripe, Razzle Berry. Repeat for opaque coverage.
3. Run craft knife or razor blade around edges of tape. Carefully lift tape.
4. Paint 2" stripe Calypso Blue and 1" stripe Citron Green.
5. Use sponge pouncer and Lavender to dot on Razzle Berry stripe.
6. Paint small Razzle Berry flowers on Citron Green stripe.
7. Use brush handle end and Citron Green to make dip-dot hearts on Bright Orange stripe.
8. Paint Bright Orange daisies on Calypso Blue stripe.
9. Use brush handle end and all colors to dot Lavender stripe.
10. Use brush handle end to dot each stripe border with its corresponding color.
11. Use liner brush and Citron Green to paint swirls on Lavender dots and Lavender swirls on daisy centers.
12. Use brush handle end and Bright Orange to dot small flower centers.
13. Allow to cure for 21 days or bake following these instructions: Allow painted item to dry for 48 hours. Place glass item in cool oven. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and crack open door. Allow to completely cool before removing from the oven. Hand washing recommended for best results.

Helpful Hint
Allow Americana Gloss Enamels to dry between coats to avoid lifting.
