Pouncer Brushes

Love polka dots? I do! Pouncer (or Spouncer) brushes, which are round foam heads on the end of a dowel type stick handle, are perfect for this! They come in an assortment of sizes that you can combine or overlap for an endless variety of looks. You can also stack and position the sizes for things like Snowmen body shapes, flower shapes, head/body of person, ears and muzzle on an animal face, etc.

When using pouncers, do not overload the foam with paint. It is always best to dip the flat end into paint surface then test on a scrap paper first to experiment before painting projects. To get a more perfect shape and edge to the circle and solid color within the dot, lightly press then twist the pouncer in place, then lift upwards. For a shaded dot look, only dip edges of foam into paint - then when you twist, the outer edges will be dark and center of dot will be light.
