Checking out those patterns you see with random ring shapes that are so popular on scrapbook papers, fabrics, and home decor designs? They are often overlapped in various sizes and colors, forming some awesome and unique looks! Create your own (and "recycle" at the same time!) by using items like rims of jar lids or plastic containers and toilet paper, paper towel, or gift wrap cardboard core tubes cut into short pieces! Dip these into paint for a light coating (do not overload with paint or it will be a messy circular shape with uneven edges), then press onto surface.
Then, once you get it just the way you want it, run it through your scanner and print multiple pages on a color bitmap printer. An all-in-one printer works great for this.
